About the case study

Home tours are an integral part of the real estate and leasing industry. Peek wanted to reinvent home tours with immersive 3D virtual reality applications using VR headsets. With their rich experience with 3D graphics technology, the Codewalla team joined the early-stage startup to build a team and design Peek’s prototype product.

Peek and Codewalla teams evolved the product to offer a browser-based virtual tour - to automatically capture the home and another to create a virtual environment by stitching together photos and videos of the listed home. This, along with annotated listing details, allowed Peek customers to experience the virtual tour in a browser.

The pandemic years further accelerated Peek’s growth, making it one of the fastest-growing proptech startups today.

Peek is rapidly growing and signing up top names in the centralized virtual leasing in New York City and national rental property management companies.
